REVIEW: KORN – THE PATH OF TOTALITY
On today’s episode of the Rock it Out! Blog, my brother, DJ JoJoe, and I review the new Korn album, The Path Of Totality, from Roadrunner Records. The album is a mix of metal and dubstep music and incorporates electronic artists like Skrillex, Datsik, Downlink, Noisia and more. The album, to me, doesn’t work. Primarily because Korn is a band that, only last year, released an album that they promoted as getting back to their roots. Now they’ve released an album that, while some tracks stand out, falls flat due to the fact that many tracks feature Jonathan Davis singing on top of a dubstep beat while the band seems mostly absent. What are your thoughts on the album? Leave a text or video response.
